Nutrigenomics New Zealand is a collaboration between AgResearch, The University of Auckland and Plant & Food Research.
AgResearch is New Zealand's largest Crown Research Institute. Our purpose is to enhance the value, productivity and profitability of New Zealand's pastoral, agri-food and agri-technology sector value chains to contribute to economic growth and beneficial environmental and social outcomes for New Zealand. Our research supports the dairy, meat and textiles industries 'to help New Zealand lead the world in creating sustainable wealth in the pastoral sector through application of leading-edge knowledge and technologies’.
AgResearch’s 650 technical staff work across four campuses and 13 research farms. The largest campus, Ruakura Research Centre, is located on farmland on the eastern outskirts of Hamilton city. The other three campuses are: Grasslands Research Centre in Palmerston North, Lincoln Research Centre near Christchurch and Invermay Agricultural Centre near Dunedin.
